I think this is my third single vineyard wine from Two Paddocks and it may well be one of the best. I note a previous taster saying this “wouldn’t get better”. Obviously I have no idea how this wine showed in it’s youth but it’s a really interesting wine based on this tasting. Wonderful nose matched by a complex palate and a very long finish. Thid is sumptuous Pinot Noir!

Drinking very nicely with more savouriness that I find in most Central Otago Pinots, which have a tendency to be very fruity.
Sadly my last bottle but would comfortably go another 4-5years.

Lacking in wow factor. Doesn't live up to the price. Likely at peak or past it and won't benefit from further ageing.
