Now a 10 year old wine. Deep rich red colour. Cassis and spice nose.Still with strong tannins and spice palate. Smooth earthy red wine. Some light Shiraz pepper. A great wine had with some bbq fillet steak and salad.

Screw-cap. Drank over 1.5 hours over dinner at Aden's place. Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clena, pronounced intensity, with aromas of black licorice, tar earth, black pepper, blackberries, black cherries. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14.5%), smooth fine high tannins, full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of black licorice, integrated vanilla oak, mocha, black pepper, tar earth, blueberries, blackberries, black cherries. Long finish. Very good quality. Pronounced intensity all the way but at no point in time does this show over-ripeness. Balance and control. Extremely drinkable now, and will continue to do so over the next 5+ years. The Albert Shiraz is made from parcels of old vine fruit sourced from an old block at Ebenezer in the Barossa’s North and another at the Barossa’s South Eastern most extremity at Williamstown.

Very dark deep red wine. This goes to its strength and depth of flavour. Dark berry chocolate and rich tannin. Will go another 10 years easy.

Drank over 2 days. Nose: Plum, dark fruits. Creamy vanilla, beautiful oak. Balance and very long finishing.
