NobleRottersSydney - aging Riesling (360 Bar & Dining, Sydney): {screwcap} A dessert red for the road, so to speak, from the restaurant list, because a dinner without some red wine didn’t seem to be complete somehow! So, rather out of context, I found this had a briary, tobacco-like nose. The palate had malty, chocolate and blackberry flavours, but always dry and not exaggerated. It’s medium weight, with low/medium dusty tannins, and a medium length finish. Perfectly drinkable, but wants three years to settle a bit. Tidy.
