Nose: Medium + intense youthful aromas of wild berries, blackberries, vanilla and some chocolate. White clear stone and a nice freshness and you can already feel that the wine is very engaging but still won't be clumsy.
Palate: high alcohol, well balanced by the high acidity. Great fireworks in the mouth: not too much dark fruit at all but really stony and terroir-related with pressure in the mid-palate (medium + body). Intense flavour and top length. Not at all creamy but on the easy drinking side, yet challenging due to its complexity. Can easily be stored for another 10 years with upside potential.

Dense almost thick aromas of dark fruit, cherry, oak and loads of licorice. Intense taste of fruit, full bodied and big. Starts off nicely balanced but on the finish the heat kicks in from its 14,5% alcohol which is a bit troubling. If you like Malbec and big wines this is perfect. I found it very well made, no doubt, but it seems unlikely that one could take more than a glass or maybe two before it becomes a little overwhelming. Tasted alongside Noemias Malbec from 2010 which also has the typicity of Malbec but from a better selection of grapes and one could really sense that the high level wine was much lighter and more elegant.
