Mildly appealing nose that quickly disappoints at first taste. All red fruit with a sweet finish makes me think this is just 2 Buck Chuck in a heavy bottle and slightly more fancy label. This wine is GARBAGE!

Served with tenderloin steak, carrots, tomato salad. Deep clear garnet. Nose has cherry on front, black pepper, basic cabernet. Palate shows reasonable balance of fruit, tannin, acid. Decent texture and finish.

Bright red fruit, cassis, sweet cooking spices, chewy tannins, a lot of integrated oak good finishing acidity. Drinks well now, probably better in a year or two. Texture is a bit thin, but for the price it's pretty decent.

Day two, more of the same, a bit less oak, but the wine held together nicely, still on the thin side, but big flavor, good backbone.
