Tannins were astringent when first opened so gave it an hour decant. Fruit, earth, and herb on the nose. Ripe fruit, some licorice, tobacco, and leather on the palate that finished with slightly bitter tannins. Not complex but paired well with Pork Ragu.

3 hour decant. Paired with Pork Ragu and Tagliatelle. Nice full ripe fruit with a little spice and a lengthy finish.
