This wine is singing the most beautiful hymns, more beautiful than anything any Christian could ever imagine from Heaven. More poetic than any Viking ever could imagine Valhalla. More fluid than any camel. This is a beautifully matured Muscadet de S&M.
There's a reason why people love both Jo's wines and his moustaches :-)
Mature Muscadets are one of the Wine World's most under-appreciated secrets.
Beautiful amber colour. Aromas of pears, wet stones, sawdust and burning matches. In the mouth, this is ruled by its happy acids, a transparent, yet rich, build with yellow fruits, a summer garden and a plethora of tertiary aromas that are all very easy to love.
I'm almost in tears by this wine's beauty.
Wife: 79p. "Disgusting and smells like the inside of a very old fridge."

A very steely, mineral-laden wine. Sharply focused. The fruit is present but understated. Lemon-lime acidity frames the palate. A very nice, refreshing white.
