  • Some skunk notes recede quickly from the bouquet with air, revealing a rose’ that makes all the right moves. A multi-varietal showing salmon pink in the glass and a fruit-driven bouquet and palate with substantial viscosity, especially for a pink wine. Melons, strawberries, peach and red plums with a full, rewarding finish. It’s right up there with some of Sanguis’s best reds. Worth Seeking Out.

  • Salmon/copper-hued in the glass with an initial slight skunk in the bouquet that receded quickly to reveal strawberries, rhubarb and white cherries. Self-described on the back label as having “a bit each of a lot of varietals in this elixir,” this is an unusual rose’ for all the right reasons. Great texture with an herbal, fruit-driven rush onto the palate. Long, juicy finish. Uniquely Californian, this offering should drink well through 2021. Outstanding!

  • This is something special and unusual for a rose. I wasn't a fan of my first bottle. This one had the same odd nose and structure right after opening. We let this sit out to breath for two hours, and holy smokes did this wine unwind and blossom into something truely wonderful. The wine had more rose floral notes on the nose, not a whole lot of fruit. On the palate the wine was soft and velvety with a nice acid edge. On the palate the wine had strawberry rhubard with some slight pepper. I think this rose will hold up just fine for the next 2 years. Recommend opening for an one to two hours prior to enjoying.

  • Gorgeous pale tangerine salmon orangie pink color. Very fragrant floral nose with some hints of citrus peel and spring meadow grassiness. Drinking this out of a nice Burgundy glass. Palate coating unctuous texture offers flavors of ripe summer fruit with some citrus and pepper to frame it up nicely. Not too sweet and not at all sour, there's a great balance of flavors. This would go great with food, I'm thinking oysters rockefeller or tacos. I'm not feeling like a complete sucker for dropping big $$ on a rosé now.
