A nose of crushed cherry, plum, currant with dark biter sweet chocolate-evolves to mineral lavender flowers and mint. Palate starts with tannic berry lush fruit. Evolves within an elegant, mid palette with bittersweet chocolate, lavender, iron, my iodine overtones. The finish goes on forever for about 35 seconds. The asset and tenants are well integrated. An elegant and well-made wine. Decanted for two hours before we had a dinner with family with a barbecued large, tomahawk steak, asparagus, potatoes, and broccoli.

USA 2013 tasting by Sander (By SS @ De Ertepeller in Papendrecht): Dark berries, chocolate and oak in the bouquet. On the palate chocolate, dark berries, oak, good acidity, juicy round and sticky tannin. Concentrated and full bodied wine with a great length. 94+
2 hour decant. Complex and complicated. A combination of Napa, Pauillac, right bank, and more. Good structure. Some lavender and dried thyme. I think it will only get better.

Out of mag. 5 hr decant. Nose smelled artificial and malo-like. Dark cherry bubble gum, primary fruited. Smelled young and light bouquet. Palate was soft, thin, purple fruits, violets, grapey, simple, astringent, chocolatey mocha, slightly unbalanced. Finish was short. Tasted young. Maybe it comes together and out of its shell in the next 5 years but I just didn't taste anything that would think it had a bright future. The artificial astringent chemical thing made me think this was highly manipulated. 2nd night - All dried oak, weedy. Nope, one of the worst cabs I've had in awhile.
