  PnP. Let sit in glass for a couple of minutes. Color is a deeper purple with a small stripe of lighter purple at the edge. Aromas of boysenberry and darker fruit with some savory herbs, forest floor, light touch of vanilla and other secondary aromas. On the palate this is lighter-bodied, darker fruit with juicier notes, moderate acidity, lighter tannin leaving a mouthwatering finish. Good flavors. Not terribly complex. Drinking before, with and after a peppery, black bean soup with corn chips and cheddar cheese and a kale salad with lemon vinaigrette.

  10 months aging in steel tanks. Weaker vintage for the area. Medium nose shows pretty style, cranberry, sour cherry, light earth. Palate gives really nice acidity right away, juicy but also dry, cranberry, pomegranate, medium tannins, more about the structure, excellent food wine I suspect.
