Dark purple core lightening at the rim. Nose has a pleasant rustic aroma that I find on a lot of Italian wines: an earthy element with dried fruits. But the fruit retains a sense of freshness. Medium body with excellent acidity. Tannins are lightly gripping as I would expect. Palate shows more dried dark fruits. Pleasant finish. 50+4+12+16+4
