Cabernet Sauvignon (Farpointe Cellar): This was a pretty good $8 bottle of wine. It was a bit one dimensional, but still tasty. The nose had nice fruit. Black currant, some plum, and a touch of pepper and vanilla. The palate had the same dark fruit as the nose, as well as a bit of pepper and oak. The tannins were fairly soft, and the finish was a little bitter, but it lasted a medium long time.

Actually much better than anticipated. Medium bodied, nice dark fruit, tasted great with soft tannins. Easy to drink and a true bargin.
