Tasted side by side with the 2013. This was much tighter and seemed to need more time to open up or it’s just going to stay a bit heavier wine of the two. Nice quote as light and bright but more structure and body. Maybe a bit more time.

I do not drink very much viognier, so I can't compare to other viognier's. very drinkable, but fairly expensive. my rating has more to do with the price. drinks well with or without food

Nice balance between fruit and acidity. Drinking well but could easily last two or three more years.

Nose of peach stone, apricot, honey, and apple. The wine is semi-sweet; yet the sugar is perfectly balanced. Wine is drinking superb - very good!

Clear pale straw. Lilac, apricot, rose petals. Very low acids, no tannins, not sweet. Lemon peel. Medium to short balanced finish.
