  This was a huge surprise, thanks Stela! I hadn't even heard of this variety before getting to try it. Bottled in a 1998 bottle - from when Kos produced on a far larger scale, instead of mostly for the family's needs, but this is quite fresh. The variety, dišeća ranina, was apparently recognized as one of those that should be grown at a larger scale, but is still quite obscure and rare. The aroma was what it's known for, and I can honestly say I was thrilled about it before I'd heard of that - huuge, sweetish apple and banana puree, just lovely. Taste... sweetish, citrict, soft, clean with just a touch of bitterness to balance. A lovely white I was really, really thrilled to try.
