Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 91 points

  • Bright golden. Pure, ripe nose of margerine, struck-match/sulphur, and minor toast and honey notes. Flavour has Lemon, toast, honey and positive vegetal aspects. The great thing here is exceptional, beautiful acidity - so unusual for a ripe Chardonnay. It's mouth-watering and yet dry. This is a rich wine with good purity and absolutely exceptional balance. Obviously ageability is rare in this sort of thing, but this will surely drink well for another 8 years. 91+.
