  • A very nice bottle. Golden color leads to a nose that has yellow fruit, hay and spice notes. White flowers. Rich, yet detailed. Flows nicely on the palate. Very good but missing the complexity to be exciting. (91)

  • Wow. This bottle is advancing rapidly and has little in common with others tasted. Glad I am drinking it now as it’s still enjoyable. Deep golden color but still bright. The nose is mature and honied - like the old bit’o honey candy. Some yellow plums as well. The palate is rich and mature with good acidity. Excellent depth. Tastes like a fine 20 year old white burgundy…clearly on the way to premox but got it in time and frankly it’s delicious. Totally not representative and I know it’s a flawed bottle but it tasty tonight. (91 - for what’s in the glass right now)

  • Ten karat gold. Peach, nectarine and a bit of smoke on the nose. The palate remains linear but has broadened. Mid-weight flavors are pure if lacking a bit of intensity. Very nice - a perfect Chardonnay for food (this is not a bad thing). Balanced. Should continue to drink well for 5+ years. (89)
