Rustic bouquet with some farmyard impressions and tobacco in the bouquet. On the palate at first slightly oxidized impressions which disappeared after a while, oak, dark berries and minerals.

Wilfrid Rousse has a produced a truly stunning and perfectly gluggable cabernet franc.
Earthy (and I mean like you just went outside and dug up your garden and have the most amazing soil smell on your hands) red cherries, just ripened rasberries, gentle tomato leaf with a hint of pepper, and a finish that leaves me wishing I had a magnum.
Medium acidity and beautiful rough tannins that resolve in a silky quality.
Paired well with a cucumber, tomato, feta salad topped with grilled sirloin. Remember boys and girls, nothing is better than aged chinon!
