Nose with loads of vanilla and oak shavings. Must be US oak? Chocolate and sweet berry jam. Palate shows sweet vanilla and chocolate, with sweet fruit jam. Another attempt to produce a decent Pinot outside of France. Completely uninteresting, another typical new world failure, again.

Really good pinot. Fresh, acid and still good balance. Rasberries and currants. Had with duck & rasberrysauce, good match. Will buy again, and the 2015 have already hit the stores.

Clear, medium-ruby color. Primary/secondary aromas- plum, cherry, allspice, hibiscus, sandstone- with medium intensity. Round and lush texture on the palate, chiseled with bright medium acidity. Showing open cherry and fig fruit notes, with fine layered secondary depth of eastern spices, earth and flowers. Very nice elegant density, fine tannins, and lingering fruit and spice on the finish. Excellent entry level bottling from Tyler.

Strawberries and a touch of milk chocolate. Light and smooth. Still some life but thinning.
