  • Previous tasting note is spot on. In a really good place right now. Enjoyed with Xmas dinner, strip roast.

  • This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from the great 2012 vintage.

Showing a strong and delicious nose.

Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate and very fruity with blackberries, coffee, chocolates, tobacco, licorice, vanilla, cedar, cola and black pepper.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up, and shows the complexity.

This 9 year old is very enjoyable now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.

Nicely balanced with a great mouthfeel. Rich, yet elegant. Fruit forward with nice complexity.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a delicious Charcuterie board.

    15.3% alcohol by volume.

    93 points.

    $160 (current vintage).

  • Finally got this one to open at friend's birthday. Basically insisted on it.
Bought 4 bottles on auction and here we go.
P&P with great nose emerging right from the start. Everyone at the table was impressed. I took time to take a first sip, let it air in the glass.
The taste was special. Very classy wine, not big and fruity but nicely delineated, structured, very long finish. Drink or hold. I wonder how top wines from this winery taste like.

  • Purchased this wine based on a recommendation from a friend. Out of curiosity we decided to pop a bottle when it arrived - hopefully the remaining bottles will improve with time. The initial nose is alcohol, tart cherry and a hint of pepper, much more like a Shiraz than a cab. The sourness mellowed after about an hour. Color is ruby to garnet intone with the clarity of a Pinot - get where I'm going with this? Just didn't hit the California cab mark for me at all, nothing rich, bold, jammy or big about it. There is no information provided or to be found regarding the blend which I find odd. Too many great options at this price point for me to want more. I would love to try one of the earlier vintages to see what all of the hype was about.
