Dinner at the Papies (The Papies, Elizabeth St, London): Feb 2017 disgorgement. We had our ups and downs with this wine but on this occasion it delivered. Well mature, rich yeasty profile quite full and had a lovely energy that it did not last few times we crossed paths. Very solid 92
BBQ at The Papies (The Papies, Elizabeth St, London): Consistent with our earlier notes and a solid 91-92, with a good palate feel. Needs to be drunk sooner than later we believe. 91 once again . Biscuity, brioche, yeasty wine. Has a bit of energy in the tank yet , Quite the enjoyable wine and makes for a good dinner conversation. We should have disgorged them earlier though.

Champagne BBQ at the Papies (The Papies, Elizabeth St, London): We bought this "un-disgorged" and was disgorged in February 2017 We are not sure if its bottle variation or this wine is growing one us but definitely the last 2 bottles we have had felt better than the first 2. For sure we still think we should have disgorged these earlier but enjoyable nonetheless. And great dinner conversations begin with such a wine and the when and if..

Saturday night at The Papies ( Eurovision & Fuego dinner) (The Papies, Elizabeth St, London): We bought this "un-disgorged" and was disgorged in February 2017. Our 3rd bottle of this batch this week and marginally better and more giving than the previous 2 so we raise the question of bottle variation or as the previous 2 were taken to a restaurant weather the wine is on the fragile side. Biscuity, brioche, yeasty wine. A bit more energy in this bottle too. Quite the enjoyable wine and makes for a good dinner conversation. We should have disgorged them earlier though. 91+

Two very consistent bottles, we bought these "un-disgorged" and were disgorged in February 2017. We felt like we left it too long and the champagne was in way a bit too evolved and lacked a bright spark of energy. The first nose was also a bit aggressive as it felt there was a lot of CO2 attacking you but that blew off. Brioche, ripe fruit, honey touches. bisquity side well . Interesting wine but we left it a bit too long maybe to disgorge. 90 for now
