This wine was superb. Deep red, garnet color with minimally light red rim. Lovely nose of deep red raspberries. It said to decant when youthful for several hours. Oops. Decanted and poured. Really no sediment to speak of. Amazing from the first sniff and sip. Consumed over 5 hours or so with friends and a delicious homemade pizza. On the palate this was a warm, not bright wine. Continuing flavors of deep red raspberries and rich tannins that just melted in the mouth. Long, sumptuous finish of similar flavors. Complex? Not really. Delicious? Absolutely! I'm looking for another 6-12 bottles at this incredible price point. Did I mention that this was organically grown?

A little too dusty for my tastes. Seemed slightly effervescent at first but that went away. Kind of a weird bottle for me. A little weird in the beginning but after some time it got better.

Very drinkable for the price. It's got a sortof velvety texture. Good fruit, but not overdone. Fairly one-dimensional. Meant to pair with food and went well with a chicken dish.

PnP and let sit for about 5-10 minutes before sampling. Color is fairly opaque purple fading to a thin strip of purple-red at the edge. Already eating a salad for dinner when I am starting sampling. The nose is a bit closed at first, but with a bit of swirling reveals darker berry starting at about boysenberry with blueberry and blackberry mixed in. There is some wet dirt, a hint of wood and some vanilla as well. The aromas close back up within a minute or so, so this wine comes across as still early in its drinking window. There are some slight herbal notes. On the palate there are some sweet, darker berry notes, a surge of warmth, some acid (medium) and lighter tannin (light+ to maybe medium-) leaving a mouth-watering, somewhat sweet finish. There are noticeable legs and some viscosity on the palate as well. Alcohol a bit on the high side? The wine is still closing up, albeit more slowly, 20 minutes or so after opening. The tannin has just a bit of youthful grip to it. Over the course of the next hour or so the wine has filled out some, but is still a bit straightforward.

A bit dusty when first opened - but lush, rich, fruity, approachable.
