Depending on the glass the champagne is clean and refreshing. Tastes of crisp juicy apples and very riesling like. Lovely small bubbles. They did not survive in a universal glass, but was much better in a small wine glass that is shaped in a graduated way. It was a very minimal old but modern small wine glass probably 4 Oz pour size. Was very flat quickly in a universal glass.

This is from Cuis (think South from Reims and most of the bigger houses). Some writers have talked of 'toasty notes'. Think more sultanas soaked in paint solvent. There is not a lot of fruit (at most some grapefruit skins at the end) and a bitterness mid-palate. Linear, little complexity. There are many better blanc de blancs.
