Solid and as I remember tasting it at the domaine. Nicely balanced mid weight Volnay. Somehow one can sense that Moreau is a great white wine maker when drinking his reds. I mean that as a compliment. Can age further, but no need to. Winner at the table.

Lots of tension in this vintage. Not a tremendous depth of flavor, but....sublime texture, balance and elegance. This bottling will age effortlessly for some time. Graceful and we enjoyed this with surf and turf. Filet mignon, seared scallops, and buttery mashed potato. Delicious. Pretty as a Pinot. Absolutely.

Red and black cherry with floral and spice, so coming across as very Volnay. Good concentration, slightly firm for now, give to 2020 for tannins to also soften.
