2017 New York Wine Experience Trip; 10/16/2017-10/25/2017 (New York City, NY): This light-to-medium-ruby Pinot delivers a payload of Rainier cherries, raspberries, clove and orange zest. Light-to-medium-bodied, fresh, seamlessly alcoholic (13%), softly oaked and with medium sweet tannins, it has excellent purity of fruit and stays solid in the middle. The medium-length finish concludes with notes of mulling spices. This is a quality, well-priced red Burgundy that is just entering its drinking window. Enjoy it over the next 6-7 years. Drink now-2024.

Medium light body. Pomegranate nose. Cherry, pomegranate and cranberry flavors. Middleweight tannins with h fairly pronounced acidity. Earthy. This is not overly complex at this stage. It is still too young. Revisit in another 2 years for more balance and depth.

Typical aromas of peppery pomegranate, raspberry and violet come through. Juicy with a slightly low-acid impression. This drinks quite well today. Fresh, not all that structured nor particularly concentrated. Pleasant.
