  • Rich burnt sienna color. Nose of rotting apricot. Ripe apricot on the palate, honey, nectar, honeysuckle. Thick and creamy. One-dimensional. At $40 a half-bottle I would not buy again. Much improved on day three. I'm getting a very pronounced nose of tempura shrimp. Dont' know what that's about, but it's very tasty.

  • We had this one at the winery last year. It was very refreshing. The nose is filled with honey, apricot marmalade, and stewed orange rinds. The acidity is present and adds structure to the experience. The flavors linger on your palate for minutes.
