Tastes very typically of a Loire valley Cab Franc - Green pepper, the savory dry finish, etc. A little corky funk that blows off. But the quality of the fruit and the richness of the mid-palate really shine. Drink now.

Held up nice over two nights. Expressive floral and Cabernet spices in front, well integrated in the boysenberry fruit on the palate. Could have food at this point. My third Joguet this year. This comes up second with the 2014 Diotorie ahead on structural elegance and the 2015 Varennes third.

This seems to have hit a good spot. Dark and generous fruit, a nice backbone with some tannin. Iron filings and crushed granite. Clean and bright despite the intensity of the fruit. No funk or barnyard in sight. Good lenght. Very nice to drink now but will hold.

Very grown-up wine. A bit thin for the first 20-30 minutes, then filled out, with the fruit starting to shine towards the finish. Graphite, dusky rose and tomato stalk on the nose. Mineral, clean, a touch herbaceous and a touch spicy, followed by a long, succulent finish. My only bottle, but would probably have been enjoyable for another 10 years.

Bright aromas of raspberry, cranberry, citrus and grass. Light to medium bodied on palate with fine dry tannin and high acidity. Longish peppery finish with red and dark plummy fruit, sap. Very fresh and elegant wine…
