  very dry, with good acidity, some bright red fruit on the nose which followed through to the clean finish; paired well with fresh tagliatelle and a Neapolitan style ragu. a bit austere for my taste

  1/12 Dense full ruby. Lovely richly fruited nose of mulberry with a hint of orange zest. Mid weight, nice texture, dark berry fruit, moderate length. Not hugely complex but well balanced and very drinkable. Has thrown a reasonably heavy sediment that takes out the last half glass. ***1/2

  Nice fruit with orange peel fennel and chinotto. A bit leathery and drying on the finish with tobacco note and a touch of funk. Not improving with air. In a nice spot PnP drink up.

  Very funky upon opening, nearly poured it down the sink. Decided to cork and put it in the fridge for 3-5 days, and it transformed beautifully. Suggest not opening the remaining bottles for another year or two.

  This is the second bottle to go down the drain.
  To start the nose is all yeast. No fruit no anything
  This os why the rating system is crap
