Really hard to get past the petrol on the nose. It’s interesting, but doesn’t allow for much else to come through. More citrusy/fruity notes on the palate. I think I’ll keep searching for a better Riesling under $30cad

My first Nik Weis Riesling, not very present in retail shops in the north of Germany, good grip, delicious fruit paired with some stone licking, but in this vintage very balanced though, good long finish, **(+-*?), 87- 88(+)

whiff of diesel. Medium dark yellow; lithe off-dry energetic citrus, pear. Will probably last forever if the cork stopper allows

84-85. Apple juice with citrus notes, fairly thin. Easy to drink but much better examples of German riesling out there.

Hints of pears and citrus. Maybe some honey? Off dry, but not by much. Would recommend.
