Exactly what it is supposed to be from a quality producer. Delicious dark red fruits, nice weight and good balance. There would be upside to hold on further.

Drunk over a couple of days and showed well both evenings. A lighter weight Pinot that is clearly well made. Bright red strawberry and raspberry, sweet and sour cherry, and some earthy iron notes. Refreshing acidity with solid length for the appellation. Tannins are powdery and fine. Probably a bit young to fully appreciates and I think it’ll be singing in another 5 years. Still, really pleasurable to drink now.

Tart, thinner body, not that much fragrance or finish. Enjoyable, but not up to the level of the 2009, and not the best QPR. Paired nicely with broiled filet mignon, though.

Not oxidised but not right either. Perhaps low level TCA.

Light bodied oaky Pinot/gamay blend. Acidic, but pleasantly so. Great with fish and charcuterie and brussel sprouts, oh my!
