PnP. Red berries and ripe sour cherry, gets a suggestion of earthy notes with more time in the glass. Good mouthfeel, round and smooth, good freshness and a long finish with a sweet touch of the fruit. Elegant expression of Pinot Noir and easy drinking compared to the Pinot Blanc and the Pinot Gris from the same vintage, nevertheless, still very good and in a perfect drinking window now.

Un pinot en dentelle is what the French would say. In the nose still backward. In the mouth much more open. Red fruit. Very fine tannins and acidity. Great length. This will come together within a few years.

A basket of red currants, other red fruits and hints of menthol on the nose. Flows elegantly and effortlessly over the palate. Fresh and with good energy. A Chambolle Musigny Village from Baden.

Holger Koch wines are works of art. They are weightless and sexy, ethereal. Almost too easy to enjoy, but unmistakably high quality going into this. Definitely on the red side of the spectrum, with fresh raspberry and forest strawberries. Great now and for the next couple of years. I would have a hard time not opening these.

More depth than "*", earthy, mineral, darker. Spicy on the palate, ripe fruit, good acidity, round tannins. Very good. 91-92+
