SLDS September 2022: Oyster shell, talc, pear and green apple aromas on the nose. Delicate on the palate, with fine acidity and lithe fruit. Feels very youthful still and is supported well in structure. Another 10 years feels like it would be appropriate here.

Nuanced fruits here - citrus, pear, peach. Easy to miss if you don’t pay attention. That is to say, it’s delicious, harmonious and gently complex at the same time. Medium frame, mineral tones, oak well tucked away. There’s good intensity here and a GC worthy finish. Would be interesting to see this again in a few years.

Musty. Behind that is some lemon and flint. Not totally flawed, but probably not a representative bottle. The mustiness did reduce somewhat with air, but never disappeared. The palate had good weight, texture and balance.

A wine that lives up to its terroir. Amazing acidity, with a beautiful flinty minerality. There's a definite lemon presence, with a lactic edge that I seem to associate with a lot chablis/burgundy in this style. Great Vintage, Great Producer, Great Wine. Wish I had more

Grand Cru or Not Grand Cru (Est. Private Dining Room): slightly confected stone fruit and apple, spice, quite perfumed, slight clay as well. Juicy in the mouth, apples tart, slight cream, tannic burr on the front of the plate. Finishes surprisingly rich and grows in the glass. Oooh, Hmm, needs a bit of time but shows promise.
