Ok, this should have been drunk earlier, but still a pleasurable chard that went really well with a piece of salmon. It’s an oaky style but there pierces through nice notes of tangerine, tart apple and Creem brûlée. I would have ranked this higher if the acidity was snappier, but that’s not the vintners fault; that’s me just discovering it in my cellar. Anyway, good craftsmen behind the wheel at Maldonado, so I’m going to buy more in newer vintages pronto.
