Smashing Chardonnay reflecting the very essence of California's Sonoma County. Focused core of dynamic flavors featuring vanilla poached pear, hazelnut and fig bar. Fantastic acidity and striking balance keep this vibrant white wine free flowing and pleasing throughout. Toasty oak on the illustrious, creamy finish flaunting butter scotch and grated nutmeg. Christmas Eve - served with first coarse of seared diver scallops w/fresh tarragon. Drink now and through next year. Tremendous QPR

Exhilirating scents of the spice islands and a tempting, honey golden color grace this wonderful Sonoma County Chardonnay. A tapestry of vanilla nut, summer melon and shredded coconut are distinguished and detailed. Pretty, creamy fig upon entry shaded with papya and ripe pear with a dash of honeysuckle and toasted marshmallow. Fine balance and acidity frame all the tangy, dynamic flavors which linger on a finish dotted with hazelnut. Drink now through 2013.

Light golden yellow in color. Nose is of average expression...telltale Cali Chard nose of tropical fruit and creaminess. On the palate, rich tropical fruit with just a hint of citrus. Citrus probably fading as I'm guessing the acidity might have had a better balancing affect a year ago. Stylistically, true to region...If you're into big, Cali Chard, its a solid, hangover inducing, caramel fruit dollop of a wine. If you're not, avoid. Pleased...but not blown away.

Light yellow, well balanced, restrained, Chardonnay with honey, pear and a hint of citrus. Sadly my last bottle.
