Rich and meaty, touches of roasted fruit, hints of brett, but very much in context. Lush almost sweet in texture, long finish. Glad its my last bottle but this made it nicely to the table. Will not finish this tonight, will follow if the impression changes.

Initially very appealing but as the meal proceeded the rustic characteristics intruded beyond the level of pleasant complexity. Not a bad wine but not as wonderful as the first sip. I found myself going back to the rose I opened before dinner for the appetizer and we did not finish the bottle. Will try again tomorrow gassed the bottle.
Second night, its okay, but honestly its on the down hill side, dropped score and changing drink by date. I have another bottle, marking it for quick exit, can hope it is more what I expected.

At first, fresh, bright, delicious bursting red fruit with just a touch of spice. 15 minutes in... wonderfully herbaceous notes developed into a bouquet of flowers which quickly turned to more roasted flavors.
Won't knock you over the head. Probably won't win a blind taste challenge in a lineup. But, what a delight to enjoy with food.

Dark fruit (cherry, blueberry), garrigue, slight olive, nice spice. Good acidity. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable
