PNP. Library purchase from winery. raspberry cherry pomegranate, a bit candied. Really digging the blend, the 12% Viognier adds nice floral elements and lift to the traditional GSM varieties. Ready to go, fully resolved, still mostly on the fruit side of the spectrum. I think Larry is one of the more interesting winemakers in CA, and this shows me his stuff can age too. Drink now and over the next five years.

Bought a mixed 6 pack to trial his different offerings. First one opened and can’t wait to try all of them.
I have to say this is one of the most memorable wines I have had in a while. Simply amazing nose...I could just sniff this and get lost forever. Fully resolved, no tannic or acidic bite but not faded at all, just velvety smooth on the lighter side of medium bodied.
I will buy a younger vintage for comparison...but wow on this.

Floral notes on the nose (probably the Viognier in this) Palate is bright (from the acidity) and red fruited. A really nice lighter (though not light) Rhone red.

Medium in body. Tart, crunchy red fruits and spice. Leans more to the Grenache side of the spectrum initially with air more deep Syrah pepper notes emerge. Further into the night, 2+ hours in, the Mourvèdre makes an appearance with its earthy notes. Great wine, higher acidity. Drink soon. Well crafted.

Good GSM blend. Mix of black and red fruit with a hint of earthiness.
