Very strong, dark fruit. Really nice wine - if you like Duoro red, you’ll love it. Still going strong despite the age. Duoro is a little fruit-forward for me so take this score with a grain of salt.

Drinking beautifully and can go for several more years. Approachable out of the bottle but was at its best after a few hours. Decant if you have the option.

This is drinking beautifully on the second night. Enough tannin to suggest a long window but soft and smooth and delicious. First night served too warm so no comment. The herbal combination with the blue fruit said old world but the somewhat modern style made it a nice fusion.

80% old vineyards (more than 20 grape varieties all mixed) with Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca and others; 20% from 20-year-old vines of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca. The fruit from the younger vines fermented in lagar, from the older vines in tank. 17 months in French oak, 70% new. Deep garnet color. Medium intensity aromas of sweet cherry, raspberry, black olives, black pepper, earth. Wine is dry, balanced, medium acidity, medium+ fine tannins. Feels sweetness of ripe fruits. Wine is intense and with long finish.

Still not quite polished enough for prime time.
