Quite dark yellow. Mature and extremely mineral. More now as some of the competing fruit has left the bottle. Also aromas of smoke and some wood. Kept well, and actually improved with several hours in the glass. Impressive!

Bronze yellow. A bit restrained in the beginning. With more air and temperature it built on weight and and concentration and became extremely mineral, with smoke and flint, in addition to citrus and some oak. Quite a lot riper fruit now than two yers ago.

This bt was quite evolved compared to previous bts. It was acquired on auction and this may suggest poor storage. It was still drinkable but initially worrisome.
Drink or hold. 14% abv

A private dinner (Restaurant Esperanto *, Stockholm, Sweden): Quite a full straw yellow colour; mildly funky nose, volvanic minerality, intense and deep, ripe grapes, apple and honey, hint of grappa; juicy and rounded palate, ripe and soft, much softer and much more civilised than the wild 2013, vinous, spiced apple; complete finish, good length. Every new vintage of this wine is a surprise...

Aromatic, with basalt mineral and notes of oak. Dry and structured.
