Dark cherry, blackberry, significant garrigue and some animale. Palate well balanced, cherry more dominant here, with herbal and black pepper notes. Mineral there. This is really well made, and not close to dead at its age. More intensity and depth than I expect from gamay - by a lot. Personality is more like northern Rhone, but of course wihtout the syrah notes.

Still drinking as others have described. Its a bit concentrated for gamay but its an enjoyable wine. Dark in color. Guessed Pinot Noir blind. Nice fruit I certainly don't find it overripe but its got serious acid and tannins. This wine will continue to age for another 5 but its still got a lot of acid and tannins at age 4. Enoyable bottle but nothing thats standing out to me.

Drank well despite cork leak. Light. strong in the tart cherry direction with slight potting soil. Little to no nose. A bit of spice on the tip of the tongue. tight quickly vanishing finish. Pleasant, but not extraordinary.

Like this better than the last bottle, although I don't think it will ever be an all-time favorite. Still a little rough and rustic, and too tannic, but decent Gamay underneath. There are better ones out there, but this is decent.

Excelletn QPR. Fruity and tannic, but easy drinking. Not sweet or overbearing. Pinot-like refinement. Wish I had more.
