K. Lazaridis Syrah Vertical Tasting (Oinoscent): Dense nose, med+ intensity, red and mostly black fruit, berries, cherries, ripe and fresh, sweet spices. The oak is more upfront, vanilla, nice sour cherry. In the palate, the wine is far better than the 2013 tried before, feels denser, same fruit and more aggressive tannins. The oak is more obvious, there is an alcohol kick there too. It needs more time to come together.
