This deep ruby wine is a blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre. Offering intense aromas and flavors of blackberries, melted licorice and garrigue, it is full-bodied, fresh and seamlessly alcoholic (14%) when served at the appropriate temperature of 60-65°F. The wine's substantial tannins are quite chewy at this point, with a rustic character that persists throughout the solid middle palate and medium-length, spice-laden finish. This is a quality Southern Rhone that will benefit from additional cellaring. Drink 2020-2026.

Used all but one glass to make coq au vin. It was a good choice for the dish. Agree with previous review.

Heavy and medium spicy with smooth ending. Very good tanning.
This will be liked by people who enjoy Cabernet Sauvignon.
Goes well to drink by itself or with chicken of fish
