Ripe lemon with a tint of zest and bright, almost punchy herbal freshness. Rich, rounded, and yet smooth as all. Drank in 2021, showing a mature color and drinking very nicely!

Rutherford Chard. Was a 2017 on the menu but was a 2015 when it came out. Not a bad wine. Went well with the fish dishes that we enjoyed, and the lobster mac kind of drowned it out a bit. I am thinking that the non-Salus for about $80 more would have probably been richer and more dense. These notes are a bit of kiwi, some poached pear. Mouthfeel was a little round at first and then leaned out to show more minerality towards the middle and finish. There were some more complexities with regard to minerality and herbal quality towards the finish, and quite a bit more when it warmed up vs. when served at a more chilled temp. Would enjoy again. Not sure I'd pay restaurant list pricing for it.

Lemon and tropical fruit flavor profile. A slight touch of oak, but not overdone. The first time I’ve ever said this about a Chardonnay, but there is a slight taste of banana on the finish. Weird, but good.

No malo, 35% new oak in large barrels. Medium nose shows baking spice, yellow apple, white pear, yellow floral notes are nice. Palate shows creamy style, baked apple, CA style but not buttery, a sweet minerality like lemon stone, which I've never said before... light spice, nice acidity, finishes pretty and balanced. Well made.

Nose: hint of lemon and grass
Taste: crisp with some citrus and a good acid balance.
I would drink it again.
