  • Fruity nose but lacking minerality at mid palate Acidity kicks back into gear towards the finish. Comes across a bit unbalanced.

  • pales straw yellow in color, this wine opens with a nose of green apple and lemon. on the palate, there is chalk, lemon, and just the slightest hint of apricot/honeysuckle. there is bracing acidity! The wine is austere and never really opened up into something more than just acid water. it was fine with fresh fluke in a butter sauce but lacked complexity. not all chablis are created equal and while there are some chablis in this style that I am attracted to, this wine was not one of them. enough said
