Damiana Vineyard produces wonderful Chardonnay. The 2014 is no exception, but if you have any left it should be drunk in a single evening with any meal at which you would serve a Meursault or other white Burgundy. On Day 1 at the beginning of dinner it was a brilliant combination of acidity and fruit, but by the end of the meal the acidity was gone and the fruit had become more tropical and there was an overall dullness to the wine that suggested it was rather done. I think this wine would have lasted and perhaps been equally enjoyable on day 2 about a year ago, but now I recommend you drink any of it up. I continue to believe in Damiana Vineyard and will look for more recent bottlings.
