A deep, youthful purple colour. Ripe, plummy black fruits, tobacco and oak spice on the nose, with a hint of something slightly bretty giving extra depth. Lovely open black fruits on the palate. Very balanced with great depth. Just enough tannins to add some structure on the finish. Very drinkable and enjoyable.

drunk over lunch hence short note lots of colour Ripe full fruit, blackberries, and a pungent herby quality. Fresh and juicy Polished tannins for Dao which can be a bit grippy Good wine and went particularly well with a fatty piece of pork Think it's about £14 retail

Alfrocheiro Preto, Jean, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz
Medium body, bright garnet red color. Elegant wild berries, floral and leather aroma continues with same fruity mix and earthy notes on the palate, medium long finish. Very fresh and juicy, complex, balanced, refreshing acidity, gentle tannins. Best match is a meat or rice dishes, tasted with Risotto. Open at least 6 hours in advance. Serve 18º - 22º. Drink now while young and next four years.
