15.5% Alc; Mahogany to a gently browning rim. Heady rumtoph/marinated red fruits with lots of black pepper, brown sugar and molasses. Showing clear development. The entry is super smooth right through the palate with sweet, rich fruit and a heady sort of pepper infusion with baked strawberry topped with aged balsamic, raisin, wet Xmas cake/mince pies all wrapped in pepper. At times, elements of menthol, mustard seed, brown sugar, and blackstrap molasses also poke through. Classic aged grenache! Appealling wine but on the edge of reason. Drink up!

Terroir-istes International - Australia-GSM (Rodwell House): An intense nose of cigar smoke, brambles, tinned strawberry, ashtray and black raspberry. The entry is round and broad with a syrupy texture yet seems to possess a buoyancy from a lively, slightly mineral acidity. Even the warm spiky alcohol do not deter from what is a nicely delineated wine with flavours of strawberry, peppery and spice cake, even a pinch of vanilla pod. Medium to long finish.

really sweet wine. massive blueberry and vanilla. could top a cheesecake with it. Had a creamy and silky texture. Good fruit but no structure at all. Hit with good fruit and then absolutely nothing. the fruit was tasty though

Beautiful color. On the nose I pick up black raspberry and hints of blueberry spice. On the palate I get beautiful black cherry and boysenberry flavors giving way to earthy spice on the tail end. Beautiful mouth feel. A quality GMS blend and I would recommend that you drink it now while it is in its prime.
