This is a dry red wine. Medium ruby in color with a bright pink rim. The nose is medium intensity featuring ripe black cherry, lavender, and baking spice. The body is medium with dark black fruit, soft vanilla, and ripe well integrated tannins. The finish is medium. This is an outstanding wine.

A sublimely smooth wine with about 90 minutes of air. Classy, high-toned red fruits, absolutely imperceptible alcohol, perfect balance. Could make it into "extraordinary" category with more complexity but extremely enjoyable as it is. Can't imagine it's going to get better, but also doubt there's a real rush on drinking.

Drank two glasses over an hour and a half and it continued to improve over that time. This wine has some excellent power with both tannin and acidity needing a little air or more time in bottle to reach their peak. The window is wide open now, but no rush at all. I enjoy both Perry's and Rescue blends from Juslyn, but this one is superb from the excellent '13 vintage.

Predominately cab (81% vs 19% merlot). Drank over 2 days, half bottle on day 1 with an hour decant, second half was better on day 2. Raspberry and cherry liquor on the palate, with hints of vanilla oak. Medium body, not too overwhelming. Somewhere in the mid 14% on alcohol, but drinks very easily. Tannins are fine and finish is medium.
Retailed for around 50-60 in my area. Drank on day 2 next to the 2013 Robert Foley Griffin (retails 30-35) that was more of a PNP. The Juslyn really shined over the Foley, much better fruit quality and balance. The Foley came across as astringent and cloying in comparison.

Last wine of the night. Fruit forward with nice tannins. Great texture and medium depth. Lots of cherries and raspberries.
