Very nice. Easy drinking and food pairing. Sweet fruit and new carpet on the nose. Light body. Cherry, lavendr and a spicy little finish. No tannins. Pop and pour, no real need to decant. Makes me think of a very light version of a syrah. For a 9.99 closeout I think we have a winner.

Easy pretty much describes this wine. Decanted 1 hr. ahead. Medium cherry-ruby color. Nice nose of spices, cranberry, plum, toast. Light-bodied and sappy on the palate with good firm acids and cherry tones. Finishes fast with low grip and zero tannins. Easy to drink and delicious with pasta. QPR is very good at $18. Drink up.

Such a nice drinker from the Sierra Foothills. Light and fresh Barbera.
