This 100% Primitivo wine from Puglia (the label says “Zinfandel in America...Primitivo in Italy...”) is drinkable, but the body is too light, so soft as to be rather weak-kneed. The flavors are dark fruit.

Dinner at Eric's (Chicago, IL): Served blind. Very, very soft and fruity, with just a touch of carbonic character. This is light and quite drinkable, but clearly not too concentrated or serious. I guessed some sort of light supermarket cabernet.

Decent and chill for a bit. Nice sipping wine with hard cheeses.

Easy drinking, fruity wine. Not much as far as structure or finish but this is a crowd pleaser and easy on your wallet.
