Blackberry, dark cherry, tea, spice, minerality. Medium body. Medium-plus acidity. Light, velvety tannins. Medium-plus finish. I’d probably drink this now, before the fruit fades. Went great with duck.

This '14 Emerald Ridge is very much in the center of its window; perhaps a bit softer in character than most of D-G's other pinots. This will go way past 2021 in the community window, so am suggesting 2025 here.

It was ok, but lacked interesting flavor in the middle and end. Not as good as most of the DG pinots we have tasted. Feels like we overpaid for this bottle.
