purple/red fruit, pepperberry, fennel, mint, vanilla med weighted, charred cherry on the palate, tannins fine to resolved, finishing fine and light, but great length. Great single vineyard shiraz. Always has layers, and the mint was nicely integrated. From my experience with the lawsons, wait another 3-5.
Stay safe all!

2016 Sydney Royal Wine Show - Exhibitor's Tasting & Trophy Wines Lunch (Olympic Park, Homebush): (bronze medal; 88p) {cork, A$55} Classic Lawsons minty nose, almost imprevious to aging. I reckon every Lawsons made smells exactly the same! Rounded in the mouth, with some dark red fruit character, but it’s still the mint (after-dinner-mint) which dominates. Medium body, medium vanilla oak, medium powdery tannins. Medium length finish. Nicely made wine, if you can take the mint.

Smooth, dark and delicious. Hints of berries-all dark with a hint of mint. (That rhymes) dark chocolate and a lovely flow across my tongue.
